Abstract

Abstract:

DNA methylation involves the addition of a methyl group to the 5 position of the cytosine pyrimidine ring. DNA methylation can regulation the plant genetic information in epigenetic level. It plays important role in stress response, gene expression, and genome stability. This review surveyed the recent research progress of DNA methylation in plant stress response, transgenerational inheritance and plant breeding. It also offered some suggestions for the further research of the mechanism of DNA methylaion in plant stress response and plant breeding.

摘要：

DNA甲基化指通过对基因组DNA上的胞嘧啶的共价修饰，从而对生物遗传信息进行表观遗传水平上的调控，其在植物应对外界环境胁迫、调控基因的表达、稳定基因组等方面发挥重要作用。综述了DNA甲基化在植物抗逆反应中功能研究的最新进展及DNA甲基化的隔代遗传以及其在植物育种中的潜在应用，为从表观遗传水平上研究植物抗逆性的机理以及DNA甲基化在育种上的应用提供理论参考。
