Abstract:

The sweet potato, which had been called the traditional food crop before, has become the industrial crops, it has comprehensive utilization in foods, feed, bioenergy and industry. This paper describes the healthy function and nutritional composition of the sweet potato and analyzes the comprehensive value of the sweet potato. Because sweet potato has high-efficient production, good adaptability and rich nutritions, it will play an important role in the development of the Northwest China.
